We had a beautiful cruise to Eucott Bay. There are so many lovely little waterfalls, it's unbelievable. Pacific white-sided dolphins were playing and hunting in large pods and we turned off the engines to watch them rocketing through the water.
The bay itself was very shallow and well protected.
We anchored just before a drizzle began and made enchiladas for dinner.
We watched a pair of eagles harass a small flock of geese. One of them pummeled a goose out of the air and it stuck to the water, squawking and diving whenever the eagle swooped low over it, trying to get its talons into the goose. I thought it was a goner, but it didn't give up and eventually the eagle left it alone. Our evening entertainment can be a bit brutal.
We rowed to shore and soaked in the hot springs. A lovely pool had been created with rocks and cement and the temperature was adjustable by a pipe and stopper that directed the hot water into the pool. It was warm and beautiful. We went three times while we were there!

We were carefully observed by a river otter as we worked on projects during the day. I finished two cushions for our front bench and Alden buffed and waxed our deck. The fun never stops!
