Juneau and Farther North

It was a beautiful cruise to Juneau on the 4th of July. 

We were introduced to Juneau traffic on the way in.

Here we said goodbye to Brian and Shannon and little toothless. Thanks for coming! We loved having you!

We welcomed aboard Bryan and Cristina. With some more supplies we're all ready for the next adventure!

Our first day cruising north was beautiful and we made the most of it. We headed south, leaving through Gastineau Channel and motored around Douglas Island, which is big. We anchored in a little cove about three-fourths of the way up Lynn Canal, making it a high mileage day.

It was a bit of a rough anchorage, but beautiful and we caught a crab.

The next day was quite rough with following seas, but we were cheered by coming upon three whales and got a great breach close to the boat.
